Ave-Ba began with a sound. The younger son, Aveer, calling out to his elder brother — Ba — in the shorthand that exists between people who belong to each other. It carried ease, comfort, the certainty of being held.

We pressed that feeling into objects for the home: knitted throws drawn close on a cold night, blankets that hold a child in the dark, cushions that find their place quietly on a sofa over years. Everything we make is knitted from natural fibres and built to be lived with — not for a season, but for the years in which a house becomes a home.
